The Host Damage Protection is a guarantee of the Responsible Guest's principal duties to pay you, as a Host, to repair or replace your Covered Property damaged or destroyed as a result of a Covered Loss, and is contingent on such responsibility.
If you purchased insurance through our Platform, please see the policy document(s) for terms and further information. Insurance is not covered by these Terms.
TravelPala is a company built on trust. Many said it couldn't work, but we felt that people are basically decent and that we could create a system that allow strangers to trust one another..

Frequently asked questions
If you have an extra room, an entire house, or a hotel, you may make money by listing it on our website.
To create an account on TravelPala, you must be at least 18 years old, according to the platform's Conditions of Service. This applies to both hosts and guests who wish to utilize TravelPala's website and services.
We do not thoroughly screen our guests. We would, however, do a background check long before a host accepts a guest's booking.
How much should you charge? It is entirely up to you, but the following suggestions may assist you: Examine market prices: Look for comparable listings in your region to see what they charge. Consider your cleaning fee: Include it in your tariff or charge it separately.
When your reservation is confirmed, your payment method will be charged (excluding security deposits). This also applies to Instant Book. The Host does not receive payment until 24 hours after your scheduled check-in, regardless of how far in advance you book.
TravelPala does not provide separate insurance protections to property owners, so you'll need to have adequate insurance in place on your property in case of a guest's accidental injury, and you'll also want to take steps to ensure that you are aware of and remedy any hazards that may cause dangerous conditions. For example, if a guest notices a leaky sink pipe that poses a slip hazard on your tile floors, you should identify and repair the problem as soon as possible. You should also consult with your insurance provider to determine whether your coverage is adequate for a rental property.
